A new addition has been built
to the west side of the current library building which doubles the
size of the library and provides eight additional faculty offices.
The addition was completed in March of 2003. Renovation of the original
building then began which included a computer lab, student support
services, library staff offices, art gallery, and classrooms. This
final phase was completed in August of 2003.
The library will continue to be
called the Mary Miller Library and the entire building is named Smith
Center in honor of a past Hesston College president, Tilman Smith.
Architects for the project are
Schaefer, Johnson, Cox, Frey and Associates.
The students and staff are enjoying our new space.
