Personal Statement
- I believe that education occurs by constructing knowledge collectively, by engaging in critical inquiry and reflection, and through cooperative and shared experiences.
- I facilitate my classes from a constructivist viewpoint and with the premise that our class will be a dynamic reflection of student and instructor needs in the pursuit of content objectives.
- I believe the richest class environments are comprised of diverse students from different backgrounds who are encouraged to connect their stories and experiences in the pursuit of a deep and meaningful education with a global perspective.
