The Life Cycle of Stars

By Amy Gerhardt

Have you ever wondered how ancient a star is, and what it's life is like? Well, it's stages of life are very similar to ours, only multiplied by about a million years. However, there are parts of a star's life that are still phenomena to scientists today. If you want to delve into the life cycle of a star, go to my research page.

My name is Amy Gerhardt, and I am currently a sophomore at Hesston College. I grew up on a farm in Netawaka, KS. I went to a small high school, which is one of the reasons why I chose to attend Hesston College. I am a pre-veterinary major and plan on attending Kansas State University in the spring. Gazing at the stars is one of my favorite things to do at night, so I thought it would be interesting to learn more about them.
