Campus map of athletic facilities

As part of the Hesston College's "Enhancing Excellence" campaign, all outdoor athletic facilities have been renovated. This is the architect's drawing of the athletic facilities.

Yost Center

Yost Center houses a hardwood maple playing surface for two basketball and two volleyball courts. Along the perimeter is a one-twelfth mile synthetic jogging track.
The building includes two racquetball courts, four locker rooms, a training room, coaches' offices, and a classroom. Bleacher seating for 1,000 is available for games.

Campus Activities Center

The Campus Activities Center is a 15,000 square foot building that has a synthetic playing surface designed for volleyball, basketball, or indoor soccer. Also included is a weight-training and fitness center equipped with free weights, standard weights, and other fitness equipment.

Tennis Courts

Four lighted tennis courts currently exist south of Yost Center, with two more to be added. The college also has access to eight lighted courts at the local high school.

Baseball Field

Hesston College boasts one of the best small college baseball stadiums in the state.

Fans can view the game from the stadium seating behind the plate as well on the bleacher seating above the dugouts.

With new lights and poles, the majority of games are held at night.

Players from Hesston, as well as other teams, love to play on this top-notch field.

The field offers underground irrigation, a large scoreboard, a warning track, and an eight foot fence that surrounds the entire facility.

This past summer saw the construction of a brand new hitting cage on the southwest end of the field.

Soccer Field

Hesston College boasts one of the best college soccer-only fields in the state.  The fall of 1997 was the inaugural year for the brand new game and practice facility.  The new 120 x 75 field includes new lighting, underground irrigation, new turf, new goals, electronic scoreboard, stadium seating, and pressbox.

Softball Facilities

There is a practice diamond on the south side of campus. Games are played on the lighted city diamond several blocks from campus.

Golf Course

The city of Hesston boasts a beautiful 18-hole course which is the home course for the college's golf team.
