A pastoral couple from Goshen, Ind., will serve as Pastors-in-Residence at Hesston College September 25-27, speaking on the theme of "Discipleship and Grace."
Daniel Yoder is associate pastor of youth and young adults at First Mennonite Church, Middlebury, Ind. Talashia Keim Yoder, daughter of Hesston College President Howard Keim, is a freelance director and choreographer, spending most of her time working for Goshen (Ind.) College and Bethany Christian High School, Goshen. Both are graduates of Hesston College and Tabor College, Hillsboro, Kan.
Daniel will speak on the topic "What the heck is grace?" during the 11 a.m. chapel service, Monday, Sept. 25, in the sanctuary of Hesston Mennonite Church. Talashia's topic for the 11 a.m. chapel Sept. 27 is "Encounter, Obey, and Follow."
Yoders will also lead a workshop and discussion on Tues., Sept. 26, on the topic "Is a youth ministry 'program' relevant?" The two-hour workshop, which begins at noon, is open to youth ministry students and area youth ministers.
And they will lead campus worship Wednesday, Sept. 27, at 8 p.m., with a focus on "Gracelship," (grace and discipleship).
