Andrew Cole, son of Luke and Lil Cole of Mulvane, has recently signed to play baseball at Hesston College. Cole, who pitches and plays shortstop, was captain of last spring's Wichita Warriors, and was selected to the KCAA (Kansas Christian Athletic Association) 2-A Division All State team. He also was named Most Valuable Player in the KCAA state tournament.
"We feel Andrew has college-level tools and expect him to contribute immediately here," said Art Mullet, Hesston College men's baseball coach. "He is a quality young man and is a fine addition to our program, and our college community."
The Hesston College men's baseball team competes in Division II of the National Junior College Athletic Association.
Located in south central Kansas, Hesston College is the two-year liberal arts college owned by Mennonite Church USA.
