Ted Springer describes some of his sculpture via a slide show during an art department reception Friday, September 24. An accomplished sculptor, he also spoke in chapel Friday about how his art work connects with his faith. Springer, Tucson, Ariz., is a 1985 Hesston College graduate.
Sheila Yoder Baer helps students in Intro to Early Childhood Education learn music teaching methods. A 1984 Hesston grad, Yoder Baer teaches music in a St. Louis area elementary school.

Byron Peachey speaks at the Homewoming Weekend Worship ServiceIn his message Sunday, September 25, Byron Peachey challenged his audience to examine their holy desires. His message was based on the parables of the treasure hidden in a field and the pearl of great price in Matthew 13:44-46. A 1979 graduate of Hesston College, Peachey serves as associate campus pastor at Eastern Mennonite University, Harrisonburg, Va.
