Bio
Rob Tierney teaches low brass at Hesston College. He holds a B.A. from the State University of New York at Potsdam in music education, and a M.M. from the New England Conservatory in trombone performance.
In addition to being a fine leader and conductor, Mr. Tierney has a vast performance background. He has played with the professional orchestras of Boston Mass., Albany N.Y., and Hartford Conn. Amongst other experiences, he has toured with the American Wind Symphony and performed with soul legend Aretha Franklin. Currently he is the bass trombonist with the Wichita Grand Opera.
