2004 European Chorale--week 3 (May 16-22)
Week 1, 2, 4

Sunday, May 16 - Our ship will arrive in Stockholm at 9:30 in the morning. Once in Stockholm, we will walk through the city center. Don't miss the "Gamla Stan" (Old Town). Tonight's concert will be at the Andreas (Swedish Covenant) Church, where we will be hosted by Phil Yoder, a 1985 graduate of Hesston College who now teaches in Stockholm. Overnight accommodations at the Zinkensdamm Youth Hostel in Stockholm.

Monday, May 17 - Today we will drive across Sweden from east to west, to the city of Göteborg. Lodging at the Zinkensdamm Youth Hostel in Göteborg.

Tuesday, May 18 - Our drive today is to Copenhagen, the beautiful capitol of Denmark. Free evening with lodging for the next two nights at the Danhostel of Copenhagen.

Wednesday, May 19 - Today is an R & R day in Copenhagen. Do what you please! How about the Tivoli Amusement Park?

Thursday, May 20 - It will be an early morning departure and our longest ride, to Hamburg, Germany. Tonight's concert will be at the Kreuzkirche Wandsbek in Hamburg. Homestays to follow.

Friday, May 21 - Today is a short drive to the city of Espelkamp. You'll enjoy a large crowd at tonight's concert at the Thomaskirche. Homestays the with Mennonite church, many of whom are "umsiedler" - persons who came to Germany from Russia in the 1980's.

Saturday, May 22 - On the way to Joure, in Friesland, the Netherlands, we will visit the Kröller-Müller outdoor museum. Meet your hosts for the next two nights in Joure, a stop we have made on every European tour.
