Jets fly away from Larks

The Hesston College men’s basketball team lost 84-70 to Northern Oklahoma College Saturday afternoon at the Mabee Center in Enid. The Larks, looking to knock off the Jets after falling in Hesston 92-65 last month, were unable to find their shooting from the field and trailed the Jets throughout the first half.

After winning three straight games, the Larks have now dropped three straight to even up their record at 7-7 going into the final week of games before the new year. Hesston College was coached for the second consecutive game by assistant Devan Kirkpatrick, while head coach Dustin Galyon was home with his new child. Jets’ Head Coach Greg Shamburg picked up his 300th victory.

Hesston College will return to Yost Center on Monday, December 5, for a 7 p.m. matchup with the Central Christian College Tigers JV.
