Hesston College women’s basketball coach Dan Harrison announces Reagan McClellan, a 5’6″ point guard from Northern Heights High School, Allen, Kan., as the latest addition to the Larks program.
A freshman last year at Allen Community College, Iola, Kan., McClellan adds experience and depth to the Hesston backcourt. An all-league honorable mention player in 2012-13, McClellan helped Northern Heights to a sub-state championship, the Flint Hills League Tournament championship and an appearance in the 2A state tournament.
“Reagan brings experience to the point guard position,” Harrison said. “She’ll be counted on to handle the pressure and make that extra pass to her teammates.”
McClellan is the daughter of Marla and Bill McClellan, Allen. She attends United Methodist Church , Admire, Kan.
In basketball, Hesston College competes in Division II of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). Located 30 miles north of Wichita, Hesston College is the two-year liberal arts college of Mennonite Church USA.
