Hesston College women’s basketball coach Dan Harrison announces Brittany Kramer, a 5’9” guard from Marais des Cygnes Valley High School, Melvern, Kan., as the newest addition to the Larks program.

A four-time all-league player and first-team all-state selection in 2013-14, Kramer averaged 18.3 points per game as a senior, leading MdCV High to league championship. Kramer played basketball for Cornerstone homeschool team prior to transferring to MdCV. While competing for Cornerstone, she helped win a national championship in basketball.

Kramer will balance basketball with nursing studies at Hesston.

“Brittany is an outstanding player with the ability to create her own shot as well as for others,” Harrison said. “She’ll be exciting to watch and is expected to make an immediate impact player in our program. With her drive and work ethic Brittany will be a tough player for our opponents to stop next season.”

Kramer is the daughter of Jerry and Sharon Kramer, Melvern. She attends Mt. Pleasant Community Church, Lyndon, Kan.
