Pearson’s walk-off slam lifts Larks

The Hesston College baseball team won a dramatic come-from-behind 10-8 game over Dakota CC (Rosemount, Minn.) on Friday, March 21, evening its record at 10-10.

Down 5-0 in the middle of the eighth inning and trailing 8-2 with three outs to go, the Hesston offense found new life, plating four runs and loading the bases before Zac Pearson (Many, La.) crushed a walk-off grand slam that gave Hesston the win.

Jarret Wolf (Sand Springs, Okla.) went 4-for-5 with a double and two runs knocked in for Hesston. Scott Cooper (Sand Springs, Okla.) went 2-for-4 with a double, two runs and one RBI. Pearson had two hits and four RBI.
