The Hesston College baseball team evened its season record at 8-8 with a convincing 9-3 win over Central Christan College (McPherson, Kan.).

Scott Cooper (Sand Springs, Okla.) went 5-for-5 with two doubles, a stolen base and four runs scored to led the Hesston offense. Corey Fowler (Boone, Iowa) belted a home run for the Larks.

On the mound, Hesston righty Dustin King (Wichita, Kan.) went six innings to pick up the win. King allowed just four hits and one walk.
