Hesston College women’s soccer coach Bryan Kehr opened the 2014 recruiting class by signing Laura Blosser, a senior at Hesston (Kan.) High School. A three-sport athlete for the Swathers, Blosser participates in basketball, cross country and track. Hesston High does not offer varsity soccer.

An honor roll student, Blosser will study nursing at Hesston. She attends Whitestone Mennonite Church, Hesston.

“Laura will be a good addition to our program,” Kehr said. “She has run cross country in high school and played soccer during the summers. We are looking forward to seeing her soccer skill continue to develop with college playing experience.”

Blosser is the daughter of Vern and Brenda Blosser, Hesston.
