The Hesston College women’s basketball team picked up a lopsided 61-35 home win over Bethel College JV (North Newton, Kan.) on Wednesday, Nov. 20, moving its record to 3-5 on the year.

The Larks shot 43 percent from the field before the break and raced to a 36-12 halftime lead. Hesston’s defense held the Threshers to just under 20 percent for the game.

Freshman post Bethany Snow (Park City, Kan.) scored a career-high 17 points to lead Hesston. Makayla Ladwig (Wichita, Kan.) added 12.

Winners of two of its last three, the Larks travel to Cottey College (Nevada, Mo.) for a 1 p.m. game on Saturday, Nov. 23.
