Larks down Friends JV, pick up first win of year

The Hesston College men’s basketball team broke out of its early-season slump with a 87-77  home victory over Friends University JV (Wichita, Kan.) on Monday, Nov. 18. 

Darrion Martin (Houston) led the way with 22 points for Hesston. Jordan Tanner (Houston) scored a career-high 20 points.  Tra Smoot (East St. Louis, Ill.) added 14.

Now 1-6 on the year, the Larks look to make it two in a row when they host Bethel College JV (North Newton, Kan.) at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 20.
