The Hesston College women’s soccer team ran away from Garden City (Kan.) CC by a 4-0 count on Wednesday, Sept. 18, improving its season record to 4-4-2.

Freshman Rachel Short-Miller (Bellingham, Wash.) scored all four goals in the Region VI matchup, with two coming in each half. Myu Kobayashi (Yokosuka, Japan) assisted Short-Miller on two of her goals.

The Larks outshot Garden City by 14-3 mark and held a 6-0 advantage in corner kicks.

Up next for Hesston is a 5 p.m. game against Coffeyville (Kan.) CC on Sunday, Sept. 22.
