The Hesston College men’s cross country team finished sixth among eight schools at the Tabor College Invitational (Saturday, Sept. 28 at Harvey County East Lake).
The Larks were led by sophomore Josh Landis (Sterling, Ill.) who ran placed 10th overall (2nd among JC runners) with a time of 28:07.51 in the men’s 8K, good for a 5:39.5 average mile. Freshman Ryan Dungan (Wichita, Kan.) finished 26th overall with a 29:03.95 (5:50.9 average mile).
Hesston finished second out of the three two-year institutions participating in the event.
Up next for the Larks is a trip to Overland Park, Kan. for a meet hosted by Johnson County CC, starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4.
