The Hesston College men’s cross country team traveled to Hays, Kan., on Saturday, Oct. 8 to run in the Fort Hays State University Tiger Open. A total of 152 runners from 14 schools participated in the event, with the Larks finishing 9th out of 12 teams.
In the 27th minute of the 8K, three Hesston runners crossed the finished line in a 30 second span.
Jacob Landis, Sterling, Ill. (27:03.6), Kenny Graber, Stryker, Ohio (27:17.1) and Zach Baumgartner, Hesston, Kan. (27:32.1) finished 75th, 79th and 88th, respectively.
