Hesston Soccer recruiting class adds depth with Wheeler signing

Tori Wheeler, a 2010 graduate of Campus High School in Wichita, Kan., has signed a letter of intent to continue her soccer career at Hesston College. A two-sport standout in basketball and soccer at Campus High, Wheeler was named First-Team All-Ark Valley Chisholm Trail League (AVCTL) in basketball her senior year and second-team all-region in women’s soccer in 2009. A broken collarbone limited her soccer action her senior season.

“I believe that Tori will be an anchor for us defensively for the next two years,” said Hesston coach Bryan Kehr. “She is an aggressive defender who has the skills to attack and distribute from the back defensively. A versatile player, Tori can also play the central midfield positions.”

Wheeler is the daughter of Deandra Stinchcomb and attends West Douglas Church of Christ in Wichita.
