Bethany Christian (Ind.) grad signs with Hesston

Karli Graybill, a talented attacking player from Bethany Christian High School, Goshen, Ind., has signed a letter of intent to play soccer at Hesston College. Graybill, a 2010 Bethany grad, brings college playing experience to the Larks, having played last fall for Bluffton (Ohio) University. During her freshman year at Bluffton, Graybill recorded three goals and two assists in 12 starts for the Beavers.

As a Bethany Christian High standout, Graybill was named to the Northern Indiana Soccer Conference all-conference team multiple times. She served as team captain for both her high school soccer team and cheer squad.  Graybill also earned Academic All-State recognition by the Indiana Soccer Coaches Association.

Graybill is a member of Yellow Creek Mennonite Church, Goshen. Her brother, Calvin, is a Hesston College graduate and played for the mens’ soccer team from 2008 to 2009.

“I anticipate that the fun quotient for Larks soccer just went up,” Kehr said. “Having coached Karli as a young player, I know that she will be someone who makes everyone around her better. She is a player that others love to play beside. On the field Karli will help us develop a better passing game with her ball control skills, leadership and athleticism.”

Graybill is the daughter of Karen and Lincoln Graybill.
