The Hesston College women’s soccer team picked up a big 1-0 win over Dodge City (Kan.) Community College in front of the home crowd on Friday, October 1.

Freshman Yolanda Aasheim-Connor (Centennial, Colo.) found the back of the net in the 32nd minute, providing all the offense the Larks would need.

On the day, Hesston had seven shots on goal while the Larks defense limited Dodge City to just two. Freshman keeper Amber Mayer (Wichita, Kan.) recorded the shutout win in goal for Hesston.
