Larks fall to Neosho at home

The Hesston College women’s soccer team dropped a 6-0 home match versus Neosho County Community College (Chanute, Kan.) on Saturday night.

“Due to weather this was our first game in two weeks,” said Coach Kurt Hostetler. “I felt like we did a good job of playing with Neosho for most of the first half, but a few mental errors cost us two goals before the half. Overall, I thought the girls showed a lot of heart and battled the whole game.”

Freshman Kelsey Schrock (Wellman, Iowa) recorded the lone shot on goal for Hesston, while keeper Cassandra Spohn (McPherson, Kan.) stopped 11 Neosho shots.
The Larks welcome Butler County Community College (El Dorado, Kan.) to the Hesston College campus on Wednesday, September 16, beginning at 7 p.m.
